Hardware Setup

Power Requirements​

Each JoingAI board has specific power requirements. Please refer to the product datasheet for:

  • Input voltage range
  • Maximum current
  • Recommended power supply

Peripheral Connections​

Cameras​

  • Use the correct GMSL/SerDes cable type for your camera.
  • Ensure the camera is powered correctly before booting.

Storage​

  • For modules without eMMC, install an M.2 NVMe SSD in the M.2 KEY-M slot as needed.

Network​

  • Connect an Ethernet cable for network access and remote debugging.

Mounting and Thermal​

  • Mount the board with adequate stand-off height to avoid short circuits.
  • Provide sufficient airflow or a heatsink for continuous operation.
  • Refer to the mechanical drawing for mounting hole locations.

Safety Notes​

  • Power off before connecting or disconnecting cameras.
  • Handle ESD-sensitive components with proper grounding.
