Hardware Setup

Detailed instructions for installing and connecting JoingAI carrier boards and accessories.

Tools & Materials​

  • Anti-static wrist strap
  • Compatible Jetson module
  • Power supply: 12V–24V DC, ≥2A
  • FAKRA / coaxial / network cables (per product)

Installation​

  1. Power off the host system and disconnect the power adapter.
  2. Wear an anti-static wrist strap before handling any board.
  3. Mount the Jetson module onto the carrier board's high-density connector.
  4. Secure the module with the screws provided in the kit.
  5. Connect cameras, displays, and peripherals as defined in the product datasheet.
  6. Apply power and verify boot behavior.

Mechanical Considerations​

  • Provide adequate ventilation around the carrier board.
  • Avoid mounting near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
  • Use grounding screws when the installation environment requires it.
